Join us on the banks of the Beautiful Susquehanna River for The Harrisburg Jazz and Multicultural Festival hosted by Mayor Linda D. Thompson, July 3, 4, 5, 2010 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM each day!

Over 80 performances by Jazz, International, Rock, Country, Hip-Hop, Classical and Gospel Artists featured on the Exfinity, Capital Blue Cross, Highmark Blue Shield, Patriot-News, Sundance Vacation and World Stages! Children’s rides, theater and interactive music games. Over 33 varied food vendors throughout the festival offering delicacies from around the world! International Products and activities including free vegetarian meal during The Festival of India.

Headlining this year’s festival will be An Authentic Indian Ratha Yatra; The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Concert; The Duke Ellington Legacy; Ricky Lee; Tim Warfield with the Steve Rudolph Trio; Larry A. Colbert and Lael; Terry "Harmonica" Bean, Teodross Avery, Siora World Jazz and Spanglish Fly!

A highlight of this year’s festival will be Jazz cruises on the "Pride of the Susquehanna" riverboat, departing from the east shore dock at Locust St. A Sunday evening Fireworks cruise has also been scheduled. An admission fee will be charged for the cruises.

Volunteer Opportunities for individuals and groups!

Help manage one of the Central Pennsylvania region's largest and most successful outdoor music festivals. We are now scheduling individuals and groups to help with information distribution, stage management and festival operations.
